Toshiba Satellite L875D-10E Review

The Toshiba Satellite L875D-10E is an all around solid package, priced relatively well between $800 (Approx. £515) and $900 (Approx. £579). The laptop seems rather convincing with a three-year warranty, good equipment and decent application performance.   While the unit seems to be sufficiently pressure resistant, the Toshiba Satellite L875D-10E warps a little too easily and the torsional stiffness could be better.

The chiclet keyboard has sufficiently medium drop, but the 15x15mm keys don’t feel sufficiently defined and users would appreciate a firmer resistance. The keyboard assembly itself yields only marginally during typical typing sessions and it fits rather well into the laptop casing.

Compared to other laptop displays, the glossy 17.3” (1600 x 900) panel offered by the Satellite L875D doesn’t seem to stand out easily. The viewing angle, contrast rate and brightness level are what we tend to expect from a laptop at this price range. The AMD A8-4500M processor is clocked between 1.9GHz and 2.8GHz based on requirements. The Satellite L875D relies on both the dedicated Radeon HD 7610M and the integrated Radeon HD 7640G GPU.
