The Lenovo B590 is a decent business-oriented notebook and performance level that should suffice for typical office-based requirements. Notable pros of the Lenovo B590 include low temperature, low system noise and non-glossy display. Its plastic case has sufficient build quality although it won’t keep up with aluminum cases, in terms of looks and rigidity.

The Lenovo B590 is appropriate for those looking a laptop with sober and simple design. The beveled edges make the laptop look less austere and more attractive. On the sides, there are card reader, two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, DVD drive, audio jacks, HDMI out, VGA out, RJ-45 socket and Kensington lock.

As a full-sized device, the B590 also offers a fully-fledged keyboard with reasonable numeric pads. While the tapping noise isn’t too loud; it sounds rather like plastic, which reduces the perception on quality somewhat. The 15” HD display is based on TN matte panel, which improves visibility during outdoors use. The Lenovo B590 with its Intel HD Graphics 4000 is not meant for heavy-duty gaming and latest titles will run comfortably only on lowest settings. The Intel Core i3 3310M is moderately powerful for standard and daily tasks.
