The Toshiba Satellite L875D-10E is an overall solid package for a laptop priced at about $800 (Approx. £515). This machine can appeal to users with the three-year warranty, good equipment and decent software performance. It can even work as an occasional gaming machine. For the price range, users will also appreciate the display quality with its acceptable brightness and contrast.

One obvious downside of the Toshiba Satellite L875D-10E is its mediocre battery run times. Other Toshiba Satellite L875D models have mostly plastic casing, but this time users get mostly brushed aluminum surface, especially on the lid’s rear, speakers grill and wrist rest.

The 17.3″ (1600 x 900) display has glossy panel, which is compensated somewhat by its decent brightness level. Its 1.9 GHz AMD A8-4500m processor can be boosted to about 2.8 GHz with the turbo feature. Installed inside the laptop is the Hitachi TravelStar 750 GB 5400rpm, which is enough for storing plenty of multimedia files.
