At about 800 Euro, the Toshiba Satellite L850-153 may not be fairly priced due to poor impression it makes with the cheap synthetic case, loose USB ports, poorly screwed flaps, untidy edges and snappy Esc key. After a few hours of use, the laptop will be covered with fingerprints and dust as it has very sensitive glossy finish. The glare panel may not be suitable for outdoors use and the keyboard feels a bit spongy. The 15.6” HD display may not provide sufficient workspace for serious workers.
Under the hood, the Toshiba Satellite L850-153 is powered by an Intel Core i5 3210M dual-core processor. Depending on user requirements, the CPU is clocked between 2.7GHz and 3.1GHz. The dedicated AMD Radeon HD 7670M is a mid-range mobile GPU with DirectX 11support. It has 2GB of DDR3 VRAM running at 128bit.
