The Samsung 350E7C is similar with the Samsung 355E7C. But instead of using an AMD APU, the laptop is powered by an Intel processor underneath the chassis. With a 17.3” (1600 x 900) display, the laptop looks fairly large. While the matte TN panel doesn’t show bothersome reflections, the screen still has poor visibility when used outdoors.
The Intel i7 3610QM processor is a major change we see with the Samsung 350E7C. It’s commonly used component for various multimedia- and gaming-oriented notebooks. Its quad-core architecture more than suffices for typical web surfing and office applications. The processor should also handle most HD video editing and gaming tasks.
The processor is paired with 6GB of system RAM and an AMD Radeon HD 7670M with 1GB of video RAM. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim can reach 24fps with high detail settings. Used as the main storage unit is the Hitachi TravelStar 750GB HDD. But, users shouldn’t expect a miracle from the 5400rpm of rotation speed.
