If you are not living in Japan, it is unlikely that you will see any of these laptops in your lifetime. But if you plan to do laptop shopping in Japan in sometime in the future, it’s a good time to listen up. The Japanese electronics company, NEC, will soon flood the local market with plenty of fresh models. Most are destined for professionals, but they can be used by home users as well.

The VersaPro VX laptop is priced at about $1400 (Approx. £901) and the VG ultrabook will be available for $2,650 (Approx. £1706). The former is powered by either Intel Core i3 and i5 chip. It also features Intel HD Graphics GPU and 15.6” WVGA LCD display. The pricier VG ultrabook has either Intel Core i5 or i7 processor. There are also 13.3” (1600 x 900) LCD display, 4GB of RAM and Intel HD Graphics GPU. All in all, consumers can choose 5 other VersaPro models other than the VG and VX.
