Regarding to its build quality, the Fujitsu Lifebook AH532 still leaves a few things to be desired. The base unit doesn’t look too stable and the keyboard gives in noticeably during typical typing sessions. However, the 14mm x 14mm keys on the chiclet-style keyboard are sufficiently large, reducing chances of typos and typing noise is generally tolerable. The laptop offers three USB 3.0 ports and Express card slot.
The 15.6” HD display twists easily, but this doesn’t cause any discoloration. The glossy panel significantly reduces outdoor visibility as the screen literally turns into a mirror under direct sunlight. As maximum settings, the brightness level is still too low to make a difference.
The Intel Core i5 3210M Ivy Bridge processor is clocked at 2.5GHz and it should offer decent performance for standard multimedia and productivity tasks. The 2.5” HDD offers ample storage capacity of 750GB and it runs at 5400rpm. The Nvidia GeForce GT 640M LE is designed specifically for ultrabooks, delivering smooth gaming experience at medium-high detail settings.
