Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E130 NZUAXMB Review

Like other ThinkPad Edge E130 models, the NZUAXMB convinces us with it low noise level, long battery runtimes and decent application performance. It also features a decent hard drive and good keyboard. Unfortunately, the middling 11.6” HD display ruins the general impression somewhat. The NZUAXMB is made entirely of black plastic materials, which is insensitive to pressure and makes a good rigid impression.

The laptop is powered by Intel Core i3 3227U dual-core ULV processor with clock rate fixed at 1.9GHz. The system runs smoothly and quickly, although it responds somewhat sluggishly when opening demanding software. The main storage unit is a Hitachi TravelStar 500GB 7200rpm with transfer rate in excess of 100MB per second.

With its small display size and Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU, the laptop is not a gaming machine, but it can surely play the odd game. To be specific, the Diablo III can run between 80fps and 22fps, at low-medium detail settings.
