Fujitsu’s new laptop is something that would please both multimedia users and business professionals. Predictably, it may look a bit too average for gamers and multimedia enthusiasts. The basic security features may not be sufficient for business professionals, but they can be upgraded. The Fujitsu Lifebook N532 comes with very good input options and solid build quality.

On the sides, there are Kensington lock socket, DVD burner, a USB 2.0/eSATA port, audio combo jack, ExpressCard slot, three USB 3.0 ports, HDMI out port, VGA out port and RJ-45 LAN socket. Users has the option to purchase a port replicator, which offers DVI port and DisplayPort, as well as four additional USB ports and LAN socket.

Fujitsu’s privacy filter add-on can help business users to improve security capability. The 17.3” matte display uses TN-LED panel, which offers limited vertical viewing angles. The 2.5GHz Intel Core i5 3210M dual-core processor can be boosted to 2.9GHz based on load requirements. The 500GB Toshiba hard drive offers decent amount of storage, but at 5400rpm; it’s only offers decent transfer rate compared to the faster 7200rpm models.

The Nvidia GeForce GT620M GPU is a low mid-range solution with 1GB of VRAM. Users can play Diablo III somewhat comfortably at 34fps with high detail settings. Overall, the laptop seems to offer a bit for everyone and appropriate for people who don’t want to make big mistakes.
