There’s no denying that the computing world is getting more mobile and tablets have carved out a significant market share after the release of the Apple iPad. Unfortunately, they are not a complete productivity tool. Some manufacturers have generated a flutter of excitement, by combining elements of tablets and notebooks.
Asus delivered the Eee Pad Transformer devices and now, it’s promising to deliver an ultrabook with multi-touch capability, The Asus Taichi ultrabook/tablet hybrid will be available and it will come in 13.3” and 11.6” for factors. The lid of the ultrabook will have two back-to-back IPS/FHD display, each with 1080p resolution. Although both use the same hardware, both screens can be independent of one another, displaying two different things at once.
This means, one person can have a video chat session with family members, while the other browse the Internet. The ultrabook’s surface could be a fingerprint magnet, but this should be a small price to pay for such an impressive functionality.
