Amazon recently lowered the price of Samsung Series 5 NP530U4C at a 44 percent discount down to a mere £450. The price cut has brought the ultrabook to the sub-£500 category. The Samsung Series 5 NP530U4C is praised for its good design, decent webcam, low accumulated heat, low fan noise and sizable RAM.
It is known for the off center touchpad placement, which is practical considering the length of the laptop and the keyboard layout. Minor concern with this laptop is its 3rd party bloatware, but fortunately users can remove much of it. At only 1.81kg, the Samsung Series 5 NP530U4C is reasonably light weight and the hinges stay close when held upside down. But unfortunately, it isn’t possible to open the laptop with only one hand.
The laptop is equipped with the 1.7GHz Intel Core i5 3317UM processor, 6GB of RAM, DVD burner, WiFi, RJ-45 LAN socket, 500GB HDD, 14” HD display and Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU. It can run for 7 hours when used for light productivity tasks.
