Cheap Acer Laptop

Laptops with touchscreen display may eventually become an industry standard with the release of touch-optimized Windows 8 OS. Acer recently unveiled the Aspire V5 lineup, which is designed as low-cost, touch-based laptops. The Aspire V5 range is available in different processor options, including Pentium dual-core processors as well as Core i3 and i5 (Ivy Bridge) processors.

The 14” variant weighs only 2.09 kg and is 20mm thick, while the 15.6” variants weighs 2.27 kg and is slightly bulkier at 21mm. However, unlike more expensive models, the Aspire V5 models don’t ship with SSD cache and SSDs. There’s no mention about their screen resolution, but like any budget model in the market, the 14” variant may have 1366 x 768 resolution and the 15.6” variant may have 1600 x 900 resolution.

Overall, the Aspire V5 range is appropriate for those who are on the lookout for products with enhanced user experience, ease of use and decent affordability.
