Acer Aspire V7-582PG is a slim laptop with reasonable powerful and energy-efficient hardware platform.

Like other Acer V-series models, the V7-582PG relies on a combination of plastic and metal. It comes with ultrabook-like dimension, measuring 21mm at its thickest point. The back of display is plastic with brushed aluminum appearance and the touchscreen panel has edge-to-edge panel. There’s nothing remarkable with its connectivity options; users get a single USB 3.0 port, a couple of USB 2.0 ports, LAN port and HDMI-out.

The Acer Aspire V7-582PG comes with a flat chiclet keyboard that features slightly spongy pressure point and a short drop, which results in quieter clicking noises. Serious typing should feel rather pleasant. The full HD display may look a bit darker due to the rather reflective screen surface.

Under the hood, the Acer Aspire V7-582PG features the Intel Core i7 4500U Haswell ULV processor that fluctuates between 1.8GHz and 3GHz, depending on loads. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400 IGP is more than adequate for casual tasks, while the Nvidia GeForce GT 750M discrete graphics card should support smooth gaming performance with medium detail settings. The 500GB hybrid hard drive may deliver 300MBps of data transfer for a short period of time.
