Sony has unveiled a new Vaio Fit notebook lineup recently as an effort to maintain its competitiveness in the market. These new Fit models are equipped aluminum chassis and come with either 15” 1080p or 14” (1600 x 900) displays. Their webcam is equipped with Sony Exmor R sensor, which can stream reasonably bright video during chats in low light situations. The built-in NFC connectivity allows easy data transfer with NFC-capable devices. Other useful wireless features include WiFi Direct and Bluetooth.
The Fit is powered by Intel Core third generation processors, which can support most computing tasks. The laptops can function as decent multimedia machines thanks to the virtualized surround sound experience and Sony ClearAudio+ technology. An integrated number pad is included with the 15” variant and both are equipped with full-size backlit keyboard. Users should enjoy working with the large touchpad and the Rapid Wake feature allows for near-instantaneous PC resume.
