Schenker W503 (Clevo P150SM) Review

The Schenker W503 is a high-end laptop with matter bezel and rubberized lid. It won’t get dirty too easily unless users have greasy fingers. On the rear of the laptop, there are a mini DisplayPort, a DisplayPort, HDMI out port and power-in. It’s quite impressive that a laptop manages to deliver three different video outputs. On the sides, there are three USB 3.0 ports, mini FireWire port and a reader that supports nine different card formats.

The chiclet keyboard has several different brightness level and color options, while a built-in software allows the keyboard to use several special lighting modes, turning the Schenker W503 into a little disco machine. The overall typing experience is decent, with well-defined strokes and pressure points. The 15.6” full HD non-glare display is a perfect match to laptop’s reasonably powerful internal hardware.

The Schenker W503 is equipped with Intel Core i7 4800MQ quad-core processor, which runs dynamically between 2.7 to 3.7GHz. The Samsung 128GB SSD is a decent storage option and it correlates well with the fast Haswell processor. The Nvidia GeForce GTX 765M GPU has decent capability to run latest models, although not always at 4x anti aliasing and highest graphics options.
