Apple has recently refreshed its Retina MacBook Pro lineup with a new model, which should appeal users with its lower prices and faster processors. Those seeking to upgrade their old MacBook should be interested with the recently released benchmark results. Unfortunately, the results aren’t stunningly impressive and they look more like a minor bump. With less than 5 percent increase in performance, it is unlikely that users will notice difference in performance.

Consequently, they may need to wait a little longer for the release of much more powerful models, perhaps until the Haswell processors are released. Intel’s next generation architecture will probable arrive in Q3 However, for new MacBook users, the model is surely a rather attractive proposition with its better value.
