Panasonic has recently introduced its CF-AX2 Toughbook with its 11.6” swivel display. This compact machine weighs only at 1.15 kg and measures 18mm thick. Made from aluminum hull, the ultra durable laptop can withstand violent pressure, vibration and drops. Ergonomically, users can easily convert this machine into a tablet thanks to the swivel design.
The 2.8GHz Intel Core i5-3427U processor runs the Windows 8 OS comfortably. There’s 4GB of RAM under the slim case, with an option to add 4GB more. The Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU is capable enough for handling daily graphics-related tasks except intensive rendering and demanding games.
The 128GB SSD helps to improve performance significantly, while the Li-ion battery offers 8 hours of moderate usages. On the sides, the CF-AX2 Toughbook is equipped with memory card slot, two USB 3.0 ports, VGA out port and LAN socket. The optional Gobi 3000 modem, allows the laptop to connect to standard 3G connectivity.
