Nvidia Unveils GTX 700M Mobile GPU Lineup

It has been widely expected that Nvidia will unwrap the new GTX 700M lineup at approximately the same time with the launch of Haswell chips. That time has finally come. As predicted, the family is consisted of GTX 780M, 770M, 765M and 760M. These chips are manufactured using the 28nm production process and Kepler architecture, two things that significantly contribute to enhanced performance level.

The GTX 760M is the most affordable model with the least performance level with 2GB GDDR3 video memory and 768 processor cores. The GTX 780M is placed at the other end of the spectrum with 4GB GDDR5 video memory and 1,500 processor cores.

Laptops with GTX 760M allows users to play latest game titles with high detail at 1080p resolution, while the GTX 780M step things up to Ultra detail settings. These GPUs are equipped with automatic overclocking tool, GPU Boost 2.0, that can improve the performance level to 15 percent higher if thermal and power consumption headroom allow.
