These days, mobile gamers are always looking for something more powerful than standard laptops. But not all of them are willing to accept the steep price tag. Gaming notebooks with reasonable price tags are still quite rare, but Lenovo’s two new Y-series models could fit that bill.

Users can choose variants with 512GB pure SSD or hybrid storage configuration with 8GB SSD cache and 1TB standard HDD. The graphics computation is provided by the AMD Radeon R9 M270 with 4GB of dedicated video RAM. Measuring 23mm at its thickest point; the Lenovo Y40 also offers 4 hours of battery life.

The Lenovo Y50 with its 15-inch display offers more screen options; Full HD (1080 x 1920) or Ultra HD (2160 x 3840) screen resolution. There are also touch and non-touch options. Equipped with the Nvidia GeForce GTX technology, the Y50 could deliver impressive graphics capability. Its red keyboard has rounded keys and backlight; which make gameplay experience more convenient.
