HP has just released a £912 convertible laptop designed for business users, which combines rugged construction and Elitebook’s design patterns. Its compact size makes the Revolve 810 very portable for traveling professionals and the convertible form factor can easily support business users on the road. Weighing a mere 3 pounds, this compact portable laptop is no lightweight, but from the Gorilla Glass-protected touchscreen display to the magnesium alloy shell, the machine is built to last.
The HP Elitebook Revolve 810 is equipped with a rather basic 11.6-inch (1366 x 768) display, which is adequate for common business uses such as editing spreadsheet and managing email.
The convertible is equipped with 128GB SSD, of which only 60GB is usable for users; but more than enough if users only keep standard document, spreadsheet and presentation files. Support for microSD card allows users to bring dozens of full-length movies comfortably in their pocket, which more convenient than external hard drive. The Revolve 810 is powered by Intel’s 3rd-generation 1.9GHz Core i5 3437U processor and 4GB of RAM. The 6-cell battery supports about 8 hours of web browsing with WiFi.
