HP Pavilion G6 Review

The HP Pavilion G6 is a decent value laptop with battery life that can last us throughout the day. In addition, the price tag shouldn’t leave us gasping for air. Budget-conscious users should look at this particular model if they want to save money.

The G6 is equipped with Intel Core i3 3110M processor and Intel HD Graphics 4000. While the performance is adequate for average usages, benchmark results are typically uninspiring. However, the inclusion of 8GB of RAM, leaves enough room for more intense multitasking sessions.

Its connectivity options include one USB 2.0 port, two USB 3.0 port, HDMI out, Ethernet socket and VGA out. It’s difficult to distinguish the type of USB ports, since they are all black. On other laptop models, USB 3.0 ports are typically molded in blue plastic. The DVD drive adds to the thickness of the device, but it gives more flexibility in getting or backing up data.

The 15.6-inch display support 720p content well and the system is powerful enough to run 1080p videos. The HP Pavilion G6 is available in various UK stores for £399.99.
