Gigabyte Introduces the P25K and P27W Gaming Laptops

This week at Computex, Gigabyte has unveiled a couple of gaming laptops powered with Intel’s 4th generation Core quad-core processors, the Haswell. The Gigabyte P25K brings us a 15.6” full HD LCD display and Nvidia GeForce GRX 770M GPU. Its chipset offers an impressive room for improvement, allowing users add up to a couple of 256GB SSDs (or one 1TB HDD)  and 24GB of RAM.

Like any gaming laptop, the P25K features a backlit keyboard, appropriate for full-blown gaming in low-light areas.

The P27W is a bigger version with 17.3” display, but strangely it only one space for 256GB of SSD and it even has a less powerful graphic card, the Nvidia GeForce GTX 765M.

Both laptops have Blu-ray drives and 8-cell battery. The bigger P27W tips the scale at 3.2kg and the smaller P25K is only slightly lighter at 3kg. The P25K will be available for between $1299 (Approx. £836) and $1799 (Approx. £1158) depending on internal configurations in late June. The bigger P27W will be available next month for approximately the same price.
