Gigabyte Aorus X7 is the World’s Most Powerful Slim Gaming Laptop

Razer first gave us a gaming laptop with compact form factor and Gigabyte has taken this idea one step further. The Taiwan-based vendor has introduced the Aorus, a gaming laptop at only 0.9-inch at its thickest point.

With its large 17.3-inch display, the Gigabyte Aorus X7 looks like an impressive machine. It may not be thinner than the Razer Blade Pro; but it still manages to deliver twice the graphical performance in the form of dual-GPU configuration, consisted of two Nvidia GeForce GTX 765M cards.

At its heart, the Aorus X7 is powered by the high-performance Intel Core i7 4700HQ quad-core processor. Overall, five thermal pipes, four vents and two fans are needed to cool all the powerful components. There are 32GB of RAM, 1TB HDD and a coupe of 512GB SSD.

With a VGA port, dual HDMI ports and a Mini DisplayPort, the laptop can be theoretically connected to three different external displays at the same time. There’s no word on the actual battery life, but we could expect to see a hardware platform based on Intel’s Haswell Core i5 or Core i7 processor. There will be different configurations available, which will be priced between $2,099 and $2,799.
