Dell Inspiron 15-3521-0620 Notebook Review

In a nutshell, the Dell Inspiron 15-3521-0620 is based on the Inspiron 15R, but without the prettier aluminum surface. This time Dell uses a typical plastic material, but at least the pattern helps it to accumulate fingerprints less. The laptop has limited connection options, there are USB 2.0 ports and RJ-45 socket.

It lacks even basic video output capability, including the legacy VGA out port. The chiclet-style keyboard feels convincing with its distinct and precise pressure point; and doesn’t dent under high-speed typing. The 15.6” display uses the relatively low screen resolution, which translates to only 100ppi of pixel density.

Inside, users can find the Intel Core i5 3337U dual-core Ivy Bridge processor and 4GB of RAM. There are three options of conventional hard drive types, 500GB, 750GB and 1TB. Another noteworthy hardware component is the AMD Radeon HD 8750M processor, an improvement over the 8730M in the Inspiron 15R. This is not a particularly strong graphics card and smooth gameplay can be assured only with medium detail setting when running latest titles.
