Acer has revealed its new Aspire V Nitro lineup, which is promised to deliver a thrilling sensory experience. These laptop models are focused on entertainment and multimedia capabilities, with decent extras, sleek design and impressive specs. There are 17-inch and 15-inch varieties, which have soft-touch Nanoimprint Lithography technology as well as red-backlit keyboard, textured lid and durable metal finish.

The Black Edition itself is equipped with Intel Core i7 chip with up to 16GB of RAM. The $1,798 machine uses 15-inch display and ULV chipset. The model is equipped with Nvidia GeForce GTX 850M GPU for enhanced graphics performance. It comes with 1TB HDD as main storage unit, but there are variants with 60GB of 120GB SSD for enhanced performance.

The display is built on IPS technology, with two resolution options Full HD and 1366 x 768. Acer also promises to deliver 15-inch model with high resolution 4K panel. On the sides, there are Ethernet port, HDMI and three USB 3.0 ports. Some models are equipped with Blu-Ray combo or plain DVD drive. The black-clad Nitro Black Edition looks fairly reserved as gaming laptops go. There’s no glowing logo on the lid and it could actually look like typical productivity laptops.
