Acer Aspire M3-481 Review

The Acer Aspire M3-481 scores with long battery life, appealing case and acceptable performance level. In addition, the laptop is small in size, light weight and very mobile.  On the sides, there are audio combo port, memory card reader, DVD burner, Kensington lock socket, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI and two USB 3.0 ports. Wireless connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi. There is a chiclet, backlit keyboard into the base unit of the Acer Aspire M3-481, with noticeable pressure point, sufficient resistance and short vertical travel.

The laptop offers a glossy 14” HD display, which makes outdoor uses an impossible endeavor.

The laptop is powered by a 1.7-2.4GHz Intel Core i5 3317U dual-core processor, which works like a typical mid-range mobile processor. Its main storage unit is a Seagate Momentus Thin 500GB 5400rpm HDD, with performance level that is appropriate a component at this category. As always, there’s a built-in Intel GD Graphics 4000 GPU clocked at 350 – 1050MHz, which offers no surprise in terms of 3D graphics capability.
