The Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro is finally available for UK users and this time, the hybrid laptop comes through Shopdirect’s subsidiary, Isme. The laptop sets users back a whopping £999, not including delivery fee.
The Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro really gives the laptop industry a much-needed shot in the arm with its 13.3-inch (3200 x 1800) display. It joins the Retina Display MacBook, Toshiba Kirabook and Chromebook Pixel that appease users with their eye-caressing display. The touch-optimized interface of Windows 8 OS looks nice wit its vivid colours and crisp text. Maxing out at about 350 nits, the display is bright enough for outdoors uses.
It comes with a backlit keyboard and at 1.39kg, the Yoga 2 Pro is noticeably lighter than the original model. The edge of the display is now protected with some rubber to prevent scratches when used in tent mode. The software also recognizes the screen mode users are and make proper adjustments on the screen.
Check out the spec, though and compare it to the model available for pre-order from Amazon at just £100 more. I know which I’d go for.
