Hewlett Packard has recently launched an improved version of 810 Elitebook Revolve. The G1 model of the notebook arrived in March this year and the G2 model is now available for users. Both are ultra-thin laptops, with display that can rotate and turn to a tablet.

The G2 is slightly lighter and thinner, but users won’t find any significant changes on the exterior. Certified for MIL-STG 810G rating, the heavy-duty machine could withstand accidental drops and exposures. The backlit keyboard is spill-resistant and the display is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection against scratches.

The biggest improvement is found inside the laptop; the Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 ULV Haswell dual core processor. With its reasonably long battery life, the G2 should be an all-round better performer. It also has a 11.6-inch 1366 x 768 touchscreen display with anti-glare coating and the Intel HD Graphics 4400 offers decent performance for an integrated graphics solution.

The G2 also has an improved pen that offers better accuracy, but there’s no place to attach or store the pen when it isn’t in use. Unfortunately, the pen isn’t compatible with the original G1. The Rapid Start technology allows the device to be usable in just 5 seconds and there’s an optional connection to 4G LTE network.
