The Toshiba Satellite C850 1HE is a budget laptop with Intel Celeron 1000M processor clocked at 1.8GHz. The device comes preinstalled with Windows 8 64-bit and it supports an upgrade to Windows 8 Pro. The C850 1HE has black keyboard and a surface with textured pattern as well as matte black finish. The 2GB of RAM is adequate only for lighter multitasking performance, the laptop can support up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM.
The main storage is a 320GB 5400rpm, which is adequate for average users. Toshiba adds a 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 display with LED backlighting and 16:9 aspect ratio. The non-reflective High Brightness panel technology is designed to improve visibility during outdoor usages.
The Intel HD Graphics GPU shares up to 768MB of RAM and this would mean that at least 4GB of RAM is needed for optimized computing and graphics performance. The Toshiba Satellite C850 1HE is now available in UK at various stores for about £ 239.00 (exc. VAT).
