The original Acer Aspire V3-771G was released last year with an entry level Ivy Bridge processor, Intel Core i7 3610QM CPU, 16GB of RAM and Nvidia GeForce GT 650M GPU. The 17.3” display was appropriate for both professionals and performance-oriented users. It also featured a Blu-ray drive, Toshiba 1TB HDD and 120GB Intel SSD for boot drive.

The new version of Acer Aspire V3-771G offers identical hardware components, except for the high resolution display. Previously, the laptop used 1600 x 900 pixel resolution for its 17.3” ComfyView display. Now, with a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 (full HD) resolution and anti-glare panel, users can get crisper text and smoother images.

The IPS panel is convincing enough thanks to the very bright LED backlight, sufficient high contrast and wide viewing angles. The Acer Aspire V3-771G Full HD remains quiet during normal operations and unobtrusive in typical office settings.
